Davis Investors name sake, Lew W. Davis came to Seattle from Maine, via San Francisco, around 1865 seeking his fortune. In fact, his original business burned down in the Great Seattle Fire. Thereafter, he had a “Livery and Hack” stable at the corner of 4th and Pike in Seattle.
